Liz, the owner of Dream Weddings, came to Aligned SEO with a clear goal: increase high-quality inquiries and bookings for her team-based wedding planning business. She had recently restructured her brand and website to reflect a growing team, but despite having some basic SEO work done two years ago, her inquiries from Google were limited and not aligned with her ideal clients.
With limited time to learn SEO herself, and just a few keywords passed along by a business coach, she knew she needed expert support to take her online visibility to the next level and help ease her workload while growing her team’s client base.
Backstory
After fixing a few basic technical issues with her website, I did keyword research to find the best queries to target on her site, based on search volume, competition, and search intent. We mapped out her website structure and collaboratively decided on each keyword to target on her main pages.
Then, I got to work optimizing her website through on-page SEO strategies. I provided Kendra with a comprehensive link building strategy to help with backlinks and citations, increasing her website’s authority. I also worked on a content strategy which included over 50 blog post topics and target keywords to help establish her topical authority and reach more ideal clients.
We kicked off her experience by doing a deep dive into the current status of her website, evaluating all the areas of SEO: technical, on-page, off-page, and content SEO.
